Free Home Plan Modification Estimates

You can get a free modification estimate on any of our house plans by calling 866-214-2242 or by contacting us via live chat, or our online request form. You’ll work with our modification department or direct with the architect to have your changes made. House plan changes can be as minor as increasing the size of a room, or increasing or decreasing ceiling heights, but we also work with more elaborate changes like changing rooflines. Our architects will guide you through the entire process and make sure your final home plan is exactly what you wanted. Remember to purchase a CAD file if you plan to make major changes to our house plans.

Our House Plan Exchange Policy

If you need to exchange your plans, The House Designers will exchange your first plan purchase for another house plan of equal value up to 14 days after your purchase. To exchange our home plans, simply call customer service at 866-214-2242 within 14 days of purchase for information on how to return your unused plans that have not been used, marked on, or copied. Electronic plans including PDF and CAD plans are non-exchangeable. Modified or custom house plans are also not exchangeable and all exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover printing and shipping.
